Gold prices see upward trend in Pakistan: Check latest rates

In Karachi, the local gold market experienced a notable uptick on Tuesday, reflecting the upward trajectory seen in global gold prices. According to reports from the Sarafa Association, the price per tola surged by a significant Rs700, reaching an impressive Rs216,100, while the rate for 10 grams of gold saw a substantial increase of Rs600, concluding at a noteworthy Rs185,271.

Internationally, the value of gold followed suit, witnessing a notable $7 increase, settling at a commendable $2,037 per ounce.

The surge in local gold prices was preceded by a noteworthy uptick the day before, where the price for 24-karat gold per tola saw a substantial spike of Rs1,500, reaching a commendable Rs215,400 on Monday, in comparison to Rs213,900 on the previous trading day. Likewise, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw a significant rise of Rs1,286 to reach an impressive Rs184,671 from Rs183,385. Furthermore, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported a notable increase in the prices of 10 grams of 22-karat gold, soaring to Rs169,282 from Rs168,103.
