Gold rates increased by Rs.1,400 per tola


On Friday, the price of pure gold increased significantly compared to the previous trading day. In simpler terms, the price for a certain weight of gold known as “tola” rose by Rs 1,400, reaching Rs 217,700. Similarly, the price for a smaller unit, 10 grams of 24-karat gold, went up by Rs 1,201, reaching Rs 186,643. For 10 grams of 22-karat gold, the price increased to Rs 171,089 from Rs. 169,989. This data was provided by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

However, the price of silver remained the same, with one tola costing Rs 2,600 and 10 grams costing Rs 2,229.08. Meanwhile, internationally, the price of gold went up by $14 to $2,074 from $2,060, as reported by the Association.
