WhatsApp limits message forwarding to only one person
WhatsApp announced that they are limiting the message forwarding option as due to spreading misinformation on the internet. Not only WhatsApp but all social media platforms are taking steps to stop spreading misinformation based on Coronavirus.
Facebook also announced the restriction on forwarding messages frequently to control over the spread of misinformation.
If someone forwards a message 5 or more 5 times then the forwarded message will include in the frequently forwarded message, then the user can forward that message by only one chat or to only one person.
It means that the message we have forwarded to 5 persons, now this time we can only send to a single person or chat.
WhatsApp took this step because it is very difficult to find out the origin of post on WhatsApp as compared to Twitter or Facebook. Just to control the spreading of misinformation WhatsApp introduced this service of limitation on forwarding messages.
Before that user can easily forward a message to 256 just with a single tap but now after the limitation on forwarding you can be able to forward a message to 5 people and later to only one person at a time.
