We are hearing from very long time that WhatsApp is going to make a new strategy to better compete other video conference app like Zoom and Skype.
The most advantage of these two video-conference app is that they allow number of people to chat with each other.
WhatsApp now only support for chat of maximum four (4) participants at a time. Recently we heard about the hint that there is a code in the app that has to be increased at the latest iOS version of app. This is a simple changing and after that iPhone users can communicate with numbers of people.
WABetaInfo spotted this change that means that after changing both iPhones and Android can noif yu longer for the limit of chatting with three other persons.
The latest version can add 4 to 8 participants. Changing will make WhatsApp more versatile but we can’t compare it with Zoom and Skype still.
If you want to take advantage with this feature then all the participants need to run latest Android version of 2.20.133 or latest iOS version of 2.20.50.25.
If you are running latest version then you can add 8 participants at a time. If you aren’t running these versions then might possible that you can’t add more than 4 participants for the group call.
How to make group call in new version?
The method is very simple and same as common version. Just click on the call icon and then click on new group call icon.
In this way, you can add 8 participants.
