Run Android on iPhones with Project Sandcastle
Here is the best way to try the Android version on your iPhone. Cybersecurity setup Corellium has introduced a new project named project Sandcastle to turn iPhone into Android. iPhone 7 and 7+ users can install Android OS on their iPhones and use port Android to the original iPhone.
Project Sandcastle
It is the brainchild of Corellium, a software virtual company. The co-founder of project Sandcastle David Wang says that this project took a year to complete. The team of Project Sandcastle includes top engineers of IOS from all around the world to install the Android OS on iPhone.
It provides an opportunity to do something new on their iPhones. With the help of Sandcastle iPhone users can explore a whole new world in a new way.
The project is still in process and it is available only on iPhone7 and 7+.
This chart shows which devices are supportable or which are not and which feature is available on which model. Currently, iPhone 7 and 7+ support most of the features but still they miss some features like camera and Bluetooth.
Legal issues of Project Sandcastle
There are also some legal issues in this project as Apple has already said about sued Corellium for its virtual platform last year. Apple also said that this company breaks the laws of copyright to make software for patented iPhones.
Also, it has limited settings on iPhone. Corellium creates virtual machines (VMs) that run IOS. Corellium software allows users to run Android without any physical device. Just because of this Apple is not happy as Corellium software replaced their OS.
Run project-Sandcastle
To run Project Sandcastle on your iPhone, you just have to download and install it on your Mobile. After installation just launches it on your iPhone. After launching, you can able to run Android OS on your iPhone.
But we recommend you not to try this on your iPhone as all the Android apps will not be able to run on your iPhone.
