- If you have long list of numbers than we recommend you to separate you cells with colons (:) like =SUM(A2:A4).
- You can also click and drag on the cells to select the numbers. You can also separate the cells as =SUM(A:A).

How to make a graph line in Excel?
You need to follows these steps to create a line in Excel.
- First of all you need to set up your data. You need to make two columns as graph required two axes.
- Now, you need to select the data that you want in the chart.
- When you add data in it then you need to insert the lines.
- For that, you need to tab Insert option then from there you have to click on Charts group.
- Now, click on the option of Inset line and from there click on graph types.
