VCs To Authenticate The Degrees
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has asked for vice-chancellors and rectors across Pakistan to authenticate the degrees of their educational institutes to avoid the problem of Pakistanis coming to UAE for Jobs.

HEC Ask VCs After UAE Passes New Law:
In a letter confine to the varsity heads, the assistant director, HEC mentioned the UAE Federal National Council has passed a new draft law that seeks to avoid fake degrees.
Fake Degrees will Lead to severe penalties:
According to the report, several penalties have been proposed for those who want to get their job in public or companies while having fake documents. Those who have a job in the UAE with fake degrees could face up to 2 years in prison and a fine of one million UAE dirhams. the new bill also targets recruiters and employers who deliberately accept degrees.
UAE Authorities have seized 143 fake degrees:
Moreover, according to the report, the Middle Eastern countries have seized 143 fake degrees and certificates from foreign universities.
The HEC said the head of universities should strictly ensure the authenticity of the educational documents issued by them to prevent Pakistanis coming for employment in the UAE from getting into any trouble.
