They decided to launch this portal, so that they can help health providers and reduce their burden. While launching TeleHealth, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that we are very anxious on the current situation of COVID-19. If Coronavirus spreads in this ratio then we can face the situation of shortage of Heath workers and Medical equipment for our patients.

While praising the portal service, Prime Minister also quoted about the challenges and difficulties that the health department is facing.
PM further said that “we have to fight against this pandemic situation until the availability of vaccine”.
There are millions of citizen that registered themselves under Ehsaas relief program and millions of people are registered in Coronavirus relief Tiger force and many health care worker are also included in the registered list PM said this while addressing the event. PM Imran Khan further said that we will continue this force for far-flung areas of Pakistan even after the end of the pandemic situation.
PM also said that our Government team and other Government bodies will help people about the awareness of the TeleHealth portal and spread all the required information and solve the queries of citizen regarding the TeleHealth portal.

The special assistant of Prime Minister Tania Aidrus said that “”we are really feeling proud because Pakistan is the first country who is offering such kind of amazing offer for free”. She also informed that TeleHealth portal will be available in all country.
There are less than 150,000 doctors to take care of 200 million populations said by Tania Aidrus. She also added that it is very difficult for our doctors to control over it and we pay salute to our doctors.

Dr. Zafar Mirza said that the use of this portal is now increased and those citizens how thinks that they have the symptoms of coronavirus they can urgently pick-up their mobile and contact with the doctor.
