Google and Netflix Help Pakistan Lower Burden on its Telecom Networks

Google and Netflix (Google services provider) have informed authorities of Pakistani Telecommunication that they are taking different essential steps to support and make the national telecommunication network easy.

Google services provider introduce a new feature for Google and Netflix users of Pakistan to provide some useful and relevant information including COVID-19 alerts, knowledge, and information panel on YouTube and Google.

This is awesome: these features link to the National Institute of Health (NIH) for providing relevant information for Pakistani users. An inventory of ads is also introduced by Google to indicate helpful information to the Ministry of National health.

Google also launched a service named Bolo. Basically, it is an app that is based on speech. It is a confidence-developing app that allows children to read in a loud voice as it uses machine learning. It is also available in the Urdu version which will be given to school closures. English app has also been introduced that helps to learn about business, marketing, accounts, management, etc.

In the same way, Netflix also informed that it will reduce the traffic of telecommunication networks in Pakistan during Quarantine and Coronavirus days. They also said that they will maintain the quality service of the user accounts by reducing 25% of traffic. This will be done within 30 days.
