Google and Netflix (Google services provider) have informed authority of Pakistani Telecommunication that they are taking different essential steps to support and make national telecommunication network easy or release due to COVID-19 and Quarantine.
Google services provider introduce new feature for Google and Netflix user of Pakistan to provide some useful and relevant information including COVID-19 alerts, knowledge and information panel in YouTube and Google.
This is awesome: these features links to National Institute of Health (NIH) for providing relevant information for Pakistani users. Inventory of ads is also introducing by Google to indicate helpful information to the Ministry of National health.
Google also launched a service named as Bolo. Basically, it is an app that is based on speech. It is confidence developing app that allows children to read in laud voice as it uses machine learning. It is also available in Urdu version that will be given to school closures. English app was also introduced that help to learn about business, marketing, accounts, management etc.
Google also removed misinformation regarding COVID-19.
In same way, Netflix also informed that it will reduce traffic of telecommunication networks in Pakistan during Quarantine and Coronavirus days. They also said that they will maintain the quality service of user account by reducing 25% of traffic. This will done within 30 days.
