COVID-19 testing kits that are available in Pakistan aren’t producing 100% accurate results said by Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yaseem Rashid during Punjab Assembly session.
Dr. Yasmeen Rashid also said in session that total number of Coronavirus patient in Pakistan are about 32,000 and number of deaths are 706. When we talk about Punjab then there are 12,000 cases of Coronavirus and number of recovered persons are 4,500, while 211 persons lose their life due to COVID-19. She also said that Punjab Government tested 4,500 persons, of which the result id 300 people come in positive in last 24 hours.
She also added that the opposition law makers are criticizing Punjab Government on COVID-19 situation. They think that Government is pointing opposition and doing Political point-scoring.
The Government is prepared and made a sufficient plan to control the spread of COVID-19 in Punjab. The plans includes allowance for front line healthcare workers, cash distribution under the Ehsaas Program, appointment for new doctors on intermediate basis, supply of medicines in province and many said by Dr. Yasmeen Rashid.
Dr. Yaseem Rashid further said that she interviewed 2,000 male and 2,000 female doctors recently. She will interview further more than 10,000 doctors for vacant seats in province.
