Bank Alfalah is going to deliver one of the two partnership of Prime Minster Ehsaas Emergency cash relief program. According to the instructions they are going to support communities by PKR 144 billion funds and those communities who are affected through the lockdown (due to COVID-19) in whole country can take benefit from this ehsaas program.
The Ehsaas cash program is one of the largest social safety and emergency cash service in the history of Pakistan. 1.5 million persons can take benefit in the first phase of the program. In first phase, the people who live in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir have to visit Bank Alfalah nearest branch, where they can easily get all required information related Ehsaas emergency program. After completing all the required information, the eligible person or family will receive 12,000PKR from ehsaas program.
For the facility of visitors, bank Alfalah decided to open all the branches even on Saturday and Sunday. Bank officials also said that they will also take care of people by adopting government instructions as they will follow social distancing, sanitizing hands etc and they will coordinated with government officials.
Bank Alfalah already started working on Ehsaas program as they support women in all around the world in Ehsaas Kafalat program.
